Senior SAP Basis Consultant

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our European operations team. You’ll work directly with enterprise clients to manage, optimize, and automate their SAP landscapes — powered by our Symphony orchestration platform.

This is not a traditional Basis role. At BCS, every engagement is platform-powered. You’ll leverage Symphony to automate system refreshes, transport management, batch operations, and monitoring — delivering outcomes that traditional SIs cannot match.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SAP system landscapes (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager)
• Design and implement Symphony-based automation for Basis operations (system copies, transport routes, batch jobs)
• Lead technical migrations to S/4HANA and RISE with SAP
• Configure and maintain SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and integration scenarios
• Provide L2/L3 support for production SAP environments
• Collaborate with Agentic AI team to build autonomous Basis operations workflows
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to BCS knowledge base

Qualifications

Required

• 7+ years of SAP Basis administration experience
• Deep expertise in S/4HANA, HANA database, and SAP NetWeaver
• Experience with SAP system copies, landscape management, and transport management
• Strong knowledge of SAP security, authorizations, and audit compliance
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus

Preferred

• Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Integration, and API management
• Familiarity with automation/orchestration tools (Symphony, Ansible, Terraform)
• SAP certifications (Basis, HANA, S/4HANA)
• Experience working with enterprise clients in Manufacturing or CPG
