Adoption of Chennai Boys Higher Secondary School

In 2023, BCS adopted Chennai Boys Higher Secondary School, Saidapet, Chennai, India, as part of our commitment to transforming lives through education and empowerment.

With this sponsorship, we:
- Provided a wide range of sports activities to encourage physical health and teamwork.

- Distributed clothing to all 1,500 students to ensure a sense of dignity and belonging.

- Sponsored students to participate in various championships, enabling them to compete on a national stage. These opportunities saw some students travel from Chennai to Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra to participate in national-level selection processes.

The laughter and smiles of these children reaffirm our belief in the power of collective action and partnerships to create tangible, lasting change.

Access to Potable Water: A Step Towards Every Child’s Right

Access to clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity for health and well-being. Yet, in India, almost 50% of the population lacks access to safe drinking water.

Recognizing this urgent need, we launched our  Hydrating Minds initiative. In 2023, BCS:
- Installed water purification systems in 10 schools across Tamil Nadu, providing clean and safe drinking water to thousands of children.

- Aligned with the United Nations’ global goals for sustainable development addressing one of the key social determinants of health.

This initiative underscores our commitment to ensuring that every child has the resources they need to thrive and build a better future.
